Snippets of my writing: (please excuse the format. I couldn't get it to cooperate with the web page)
Favorite Colors
Molly sat her box of colors next to a stack of white paper. "Which color should I use?" "What's your favorite color?" Andy asked. "I don't know," she answered. "Mine is blue." Molly grinned. "Let's draw with your favorite color. Blue." Andy and Molly drew a big blue house, one small blue mouse. They drew two blue trees with three blue leaves. Molly liked their pictures. She liked Andy's favorite color, blue.
Rainbow Spider
Little Brown Spider stood on the window ledge. He pushed his face against the window and gasped. "Colors everywhere," said Little Brown Spider. "A red fire truck. A green dinosaur. Wow, a bright orange
ball. I must see more!"
Night Flies
"Not yet!" cried Alex. "I want to see a night fly!" "Night fly - what's a night fly?" "You know, they fly around like this," explained Alex, flapping his arms. "Okay, we can look around for a few minutes." Hmmm? thought David, what could he be calling a night fly? They started to prowl around, side by side, in search of a night fly.
